John Milton will be giving a lecture at the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences in Stockholm on August 29 2008 at 14.00, the theme of his lecture will be “Inner and Outer Principles for Ecological Sustainability”.

The event is part of the Stockholm Seminars: Frontiers in Sustainability Science and Policy, a seminar series that cover a broad range of perspectives on sustainability issues. John Milton, an ecologist, teacher and author, was involved in the making of American environmental policy in the late 1960’s and early 1970’s. His work at the time influenced the 1972 UN Conference on Human Environment in Stockholm. More information about the event can be found here.
