This year prototyping plays a principal role - here is a look back to the 2005 Forum and a systems solution for peace in the Middle East.

Pipe dream or a pipeline of hope? Peter Warshall presents a prototype systems solution at the Tällberg Forum 2005. Peter and his Reflection Group “Table 34” prototyped a systems approach to peace and security in the Middle East that employed the complementary capacities of business, government and NGOs. Each sector was asked to “go beyond the normal patterns of thought.” In Table 34’s vision the perennially conflicted region was transformed by no more walls, transparency of energy and water, and cash flows for mutual benefits.

This is an excellent example of the kind of creative thinking that we want to see drive the Re-designing workshops at this year's Forum.
