On December 7 2007, Marcello Palazzi (board member of the Tällberg Foundation) organized a reunion of Tällberg friends and past forum participants.

Tällberg Alumni Reunion

In total, over 120 people had chosen to spend some hours together - recreating a Tällberg atmosphere and frame-of-mind in a Dutch December evening.

It was a very successful evening. For the first three hours, about ten speakers reflected on a variety of themes and engaged in a conversation with participants on the theme "If not us, who? If not now, when? Accelerating the evolution towards a more sustainable world".

The speakers included Ruud Lubbers, the former Dutch prime-minister, Peter Bakker, CEO of TNT, Peter Blom, Chairman and CEO of Triodos Bank, Paul Baan, chairman of Noaber Foundation and Amber Nystrom of Tendris. A report from the conversations can be found here.

Participants then proceeded to the Amerongen Castle (outside Utrecht in the Netherlands) dining room (made available to the Tällberg Foundation thanks to the generosity of owner Alain de Brauwere de Steelant) for dinner. Beautiful music was performed by Levan Tskhadadze (clarinet) and Nino Gvetadze (piano), thanks to Mrs Sandra Roelofs Saakashvili.

This was the first Tällberg Alumni Reunion, and several more such events will take place in 2008 in different countries.
