Track 2: The global governance of climate change
Without a stronger global governance system, will we achieve the
rapid multilateral action needed to stabilise greenhouse gases at levels that
avoid dangerous climate change?
Much is happening, from political processes such as Kyoto and the IPCC, the
G8+5, EU initiatives and actions by cities, states, and national governments,
to alliances between global corporations and civil society action groups. But
can they deliver in time? Can we agree to govern in the interest of the whole?
