The
entrepreneurship competition “Pioneer of the Year”, initiated during
Rework, held its final event Monday 21 February. This initiative creates a
unique opportunity for both more senior entrepreneurs and ten hungry, young
minds of Sweden to come closer and establish sustainable businesses. It’s wider
aim is to inspire thousands of creative minds to create a long-term reliable
model for encouraging young, sustainable entrepreneurship.
The project was formed
and received funding during Rework the World 2010. The conference’s many
conversation on
sustainable entrepreneurship as well as on lack of catalysts for social
innovations provided inspiration to the Pioneer of the Year initiative.
